CAG Recruitment 2021 notification: Apply for 10,811 vacancies on cag.gov.in

  CAG Recruitment 2021: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) on Wednesday released a notification inviting online applications for as many as 10,811 vacancies of auditor and accountant on its official website at cag.gov.in . Interested and eligible candidates can apply for vacancies starting today till February 19. The notification includes state-wise break-up of vacancies available for applications. Candidates are advised to go through the notification, and share their comments before the last date. There are a total of 10,811 posts including 6,409 for auditors, and 4,402 vacancies for accountants. The selection process for the CAG recruitment 2021 drive will be conducted on the basis of the examination. NEET MDS admit card 2021 likely to release today on nbe.edu.in; check steps

  The National Board of Examination (NBE) is likely to release today the NEET MDS admit card 2021 on its official website - nbe.edu.in. Candidates who registered to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2021 will be able to download their hall ticket from today. The NEET MDS examination is scheduled to be conducted in the online mode on December 16, 2020 from 7 am to 7 pm. The NEET MDS result will be declared by December 31. Assam JEE Mains 2020 topper with 99.8% marks held for using proxy in exam

  A candidate for the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) Mains, who allegedly used an impersonator to appear for the test on his behalf in Assam and secured 99.8 per cent marks, was arrested on Wednesday, police said. His doctor father and three other accomplices were also apprehended in this connection. The arrests were made after a complaint was lodged with the police alleging that the candidate did not appear for the test held on September 5 and someone else had written the examination on his behalf at a centre in Guwahati, police said. A person identified as Mitradev Sharma lodged the complaint on October 23. He said that the candidate scored 99.8 per cent in the JEE-Mains, an entrance examination for admission to engineering colleges. The police constituted a special investigation team to probe the allegation and the five were arrested subsequently. Read More

DU admission process under 1st cutoff closes; 22,186 applications approved

  The Delhi University 's admissions under the first cutoff list closed on Wednesday with the varsity approving 37.14 per cent of over 59,000 applications, officials said. The first completely online admission process commenced on Monday and ended at 5 pm on Wednesday. According to data shared by the varsity, out of 59,730 applications, it has so far approved 22,186 applications, while 11,248 aspirants have paid the fees. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) principal Simrit Kaur said the college has had 125 admissions under the BA (Honours) Economics and 121 under BCom (Honours). The college had announced a cut-off of 99.50 per cent for BCom (Honours) and 99 per cent for BA (Honours) Economics. Read More

  NEET Answer Key 2020: National Testing Agency, which conducted National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET, has released NEET 2020 Answer Key. Candidates can challenge the NEET answer key 2020 on website- ntaneet.nic.in. The last date to raise objections is September 29 (2PM). The candidates will be required to pay online a sum of Rs 1,000 as processing fee for each question challenged in NEET answer key. “The NEET (UG) - 2020 has been conducted throughout the country on 13 September 2020. National Testing Agency is now providing the facility to challenge the NEET answer key uploaded on the website. The procedure for the challenge of answer key may be used.   The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a plea to postpone the JEE Mains and NEET exams. The plea moved in the apex court had sought that public notices issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the JEE (Main) April 2020 exam between September 1 and 6 and the NEET on September 13 be quashed and set aside in view of the coronavirus pandemic. The petitioners' had urged the SC to give directions to the Centre to conduct JEE and NEET exams only after normalcy was restored in the country after the Covid-19 crisis. Filed by advocate Alakh Alok Srivastava on behalf of 11 students from 11 states, the plea contended that hundreds of thousands of young students were likely to appear in the JEE (Main) April-2020 and NEET UG-2020 exam in the month of September.
