IIT Delhi extends GATE 2020 registration deadline, apply on gate.iitd.ac.in

GATE 2020: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) has extended the deadline for GATE 2020 registration to September 26, 2019. The institute will close the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 application process tomorrow. Candidates who have not applied yet are advised to register for GATE 2020 examination on IIT Delhi official website iitd.ac.in, or appsgate.iitd.ac.in or gate.iitd.ac.in. Earlier, IIT Delhi was going to close the online registration process for GATE 2020 exam without the requirement of the late fee payment on September 24, 2019. Now, the last date to submit the GATE 2020 application form with late fee is October 1, 2019. That means, by paying the late fee, candidates can still apply for GATE 2020 up to October 1. JEE Main 2020 schedule: Know important dates, changes in Jan, April session

JEE Main 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released JEE Main 2020 schedule. NTA will conduct JEE Main from January 6 to 11 next year, while the April session exams will be held from January 9 to 13. The NTA announced on Wednesday that the application process for JEE Main admission would begin from September 2. Candidates can check out the details on the official websites jeemain.nic.in or nta.ac.in. The exam, just like last year, will be held twice. This first session will be held in January and second in April. JEE Main will be computer-based examination. Around 1 million candidates are expected to appear for JEE Main 2020. Last year, a total of 929,198 students registered for the JEE Main in January and 935,741 students appeared for the entrance test in April session. VITMEE 2019 Result releases today on vit.ac.in: All you need to know here

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) today is going to declare the result of VITMEE 2019 online. VITMEE 2019 entrance examination is conducted for admission of candidates to M.Tech programs. Candidates will be able to check VITMEE 2019 Examination result online through the official website www.vit.ac.in they will have to log into their account using application form number and date of birth. The result will intimate them about the marks theu have scored, rank secured by the candidate in VITMEE 2019 Entrance Exam 2019 along with the marks they have secured in each of the sections. Counselling of shortlisted candidates will begin after VITMEE 2019 Examinations result is released today. The students can download their score card in PDF format and can get a printout of the same for future referance. Job offers on the rise? Placements at IIT Madras see a 30% uptick

Job offers for students of Indian Institute of Technology , Madras (IITM) during the first phase of placements for 2018-19 has gone up by nearly 30 per cent compared to last year, the institute said. The number includes pre-placement offers (PPO) as well. IITM said the first in three days of placements (1-3 December 2018) 133 companies arrived at the campus and extended 680 offers to the students. “When combined with 136 PPOs, the total number of offers stands at 816 at the end of Day Three," said IIT Madras authorities. According to IITM, 13 international job offers have also been extended. As many as 20 startups have made 78 offers at the end of Day 3. During the academic year 2017-18, 106 companies made 526 offers (643 including PPOs) at the end of third day of phase I of campus placements.
