  As smartphone maker OPPO gears up to launch its most anticipated Reno6 smartphone series in the country on July 14, a top executive on Monday said that the upcoming series will prove to be another milestone and a game changer in the premium segment. According to Tasleem Arif, Vice President and Head, R&D OPPO India, with Reno6 series devices, the company aims at attaining leadership in the premium device category. "With Reno6 series adopting the latest technology to build upon the series' unique strengths in superior imaging capabilities and eye-catching design, we are confident that the most-awaited Reno6 series will be a hit with consumers thanks to its fresh, next-gen experience," Arif told IANS.   Smartphone maker OPPO on Friday said that it is all set to launch OPPO A74 5G in India on April 20. According to the company, the upcoming smartphone is going to be company's first 5G-ready phone under Rs 20,000. The brand has been consistently working to bring in customer-centric meaningful innovations and advanced technologies across its portfolio, the company said in a statement. This is OPPO's first phone with 5G compatibility in the pocket friendly segment, it added. The upcoming smartphone will a 90Hz refresh rate. According to Gizmo China, the smartphone might feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen that delivers an FHD+ resolution.   Smartphone maker OPPO on Monday launched its latest F 19 Pro Series smartphones - F19 Pro+ 5G and F19 Pro with quad rear cameras and feature Super AMOLED displays in the Indian market. OPPO F19 Pro + price starts at Rs 25,990 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The OPPO F19 Pro, on the other hand, has 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option at a price tag of Rs. 21,490 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model at Rs. 23,490.   OPPO is set to debut in India its entry-level health and fitness tracker named the OPPO Band Style on March 8. Alongside, the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the OPPO F19 Pro Plus and OPPO F19 Pro , expanding its camera-centric F-series line-up.   Stepping into 2021, OPPO on Monday launched the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G as the first 5G-ready smartphone from the Reno series in the Indian market. The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes in a single memory variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage at Rs 35,990. It will be available to buy in the country, starting January 22 via Flipkart, the OPPO website, and key retail stores. "Reno5 Pro 5G will be manufactured at our Greater Noida, UP facility. In addition to this, the Hyderabad R&D Centre has participated heavily in the development of the OPPO FDF System, working closely with OPPO's five imaging R&D teams worldwide to finetune and debug the features supported by the FDF System," Tasleem Arif, Vice President and Head, R&D OPPO India, told IANS. OPPO on Wednesday introduced the next iteration of its wired and wireless flash charge technology. The Chinese smartphone brand introduced a 125W wired and 65W wireless charge technology dubbed as 125W flash charge and 65W AirVOOC wireless charge , respectively.
