Apple has released the public Beta version of iOS 14 that would be officially available in the fall with the new iPhone 12 series. The public beta version, which has already created waves among the developers for revealing that tech companies like TikTok and LinkedIn were copying content from Apple user's clipboards, is generally full of bugs which the company fixes before the final release. Apple's future iPhone would ditch all ports for wireless charging or audio, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted. According to the analyst, the purported iPhone will be launched in the second half of 2021 and offers a completely wireless experience, without any USB-C port either. The wireless version is likely to be the highest-end model, MacRumours reports. Kuo also predicted that Apple will also launch a possible 'iPhone SE 2 Plus' with a full-screen design, no Face ID, small notch, and Touch ID enabled the power button. Read More

Apple has revealed its " Best of 2019 " apps and games across platforms such as iOS, macOS and tvOS. "Developers around the world inspire us all with innovative apps that have the power to influence culture and change our lives, and this year that is as true as ever. The 2019 App Store Best Apps and Games winners reflect our global desire for connection, creativity and fun," said Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing said in a statement on Monday. The iPhone app of the year went to Lux Optics' Spectre Camera, an AI-powered photography app. Digital notebook app Flow by Moleskine was the top iPad app, while Serif Labs' Affinity Publisher publishing and design app took top honours for Mac. Apple releases first iOS 13.3 developer beta for all compatible iPhones

Apple has released the first developer beta of iOS 13.3 for all compatible iPhones, just a week after the launch of iOS 13.2 . The latest builds can be obtained from the Apple Developer Centre for participants in the Developer Beta programme, as well as via the usual over-the-air update for the devices already used for testing beta software. The new update introduces Communication Limits for Screen Time, a feature that iPhone maker promised was coming to iOS 13 in a future update, MacRumors reported on Wednesday. With this new feature, parents can control who their children are able to contact. It applies to the Phone, FaceTime, and Messages apps, along with iCloud contacts. The beta appears to fix the iOS 13.2 issue that was causing apps to refresh more frequently than normal. The Group Invitation feature will be available for everyone in future for any iOS beta user that joined the TestFlight beta program in the next iOS update. Currently at the beta level, the feature needs to get many other improvements before it is rolled out for everyone, wabetainfo reported. The WhatsApp update will provide you with three options for the group, depending on your privacy settings: Everyone: You will always be added in groups and won't receive any invites. Apple Watch to now connect hip, knee patients to doctors

Apple and Zimmer Biomet, a global leader in musculo-skeletal healthcare, have launched a major clinical study where an app on Apple Watch and iPhone will guide knee and hip replacement patients through pre- and post-operation care. The "mymobility" app that uses Apple Watch to facilitate a new level of connection between patients and their surgical care teams, which can immediately impact the journey patients experience when they undergo these procedures, Zimmer Biomet said in a statement on Monday. Zimmer Biomet is also commencing the "mymobility" clinical study, designed to study the app's impact on patient outcomes and overall costs for joint replacement patients. During this research, patients will use "mymobility" app with Apple Watch as they progress through their hip or knee replacement journey.
