Deepika Padukone has made it to the top five of Forbes India's 2018 list of richest Indians, becoming the first woman to do so. The newly-wed actor - whose 'Padmaavat' went on to break many records - raked in a phenomenal Rs 112.8 crore this year to become the highest-earning woman celebrity. According to the publication, there are 18 women on the list (which first came out in 2012) - down from 21 in 2017. Maintaining his position on the top for the third time is superstar Salman Khan . With earnings amounting to Rs 253.25 crore, the 52-year-old became India's highest-paid celebrity on the list. Apart from them, while India cricket captain Virat Kohli bagged the second spot (Rs 228.09 crore), Akshay Kumar held the third place with a total gross of Rs 185 crore. Newly-weds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on Tuesday jetted off to Bengaluru where the couple will host a wedding reception on November 21. DeepVeer (as they are lovingly called by their fans) were spotted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in the morning. The Mr and Mrs looked elated as they posed for the media outside the airport. Deepika looked resplendent in a beige anarkali and sported a choora and also wore sindoor. The 'Simmba' star, on the other hand, donned a white kurta pajama which he teamed with a floral nehru jacket. After Deepika's hometown, the couple will host their wedding reception in Mumbai at The Grand Hyatt on November 28, which will be attended by their industry friends. Deepika Padukone is a beaming bride-to-be as the wedding festivities have officially begun in her hometown Bangalore. The 32-year-old, who is all set to tie the knot with beau Ranveer Singh, looked radiant in an orange suit as she performed pooja before the "new beginnings." Deepika's stylist Shaleena Nathani shared the pictures from the ceremony on her Instagram account. "To new beginnings," she captioned the picture.
