FitKids uses artificial intelligence to help students perform better

AssessED tool of FitKids covers mathematics, environmental studies, science and social studies, across grades 3-10, for the CBSE and ICSE curriculum.

Current Affairs News: With the current education system not being able to fully tap the potential of students, FitKids, a company that offers holistic programmes in sports and education, is increasingly relying on artificial intelligence to do so.

“There are visible lacunae in the current education system in India that are prohibiting the brilliants minds and talents from outshining and achieving the new heights. Amidst, the evident lack of impetus that is given to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) as well as hands-on learning, we have designed FitKids to prepare the students for excellence in academics as well as facing life challenges in the 21st century,” said Dev Roy, who founded Fitkids as a self-funded project.

In these efforts, the company has added a new programme named AssessED in its product line.

The tool uses artificial intelligence to offer a way of evaluating the tests and assessments that are conducted in the schools. It enables the teachers to set question papers, correct them, and generate instant meaningful reports with ease.

When discussing artificial intelligence, the tool forms pictures of hi-tech machines and robots that are as efficient as the human mind.

The AssessED tool covers mathematics, environmental studies, science and social studies, across grades 3-10, for the CBSE and ICSE curriculum.

Empowering and updating educational systems with AI has resulted in better imparting of knowledge and thorough and worthy evaluation of assessments by making them less of a blackbox.
