IBPS RRB 2019 prelim exam for 8,000 posts begins from today; details here



IBPS RRB 2019: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will hold IBPS RRB Prelims exam from August 3 and the recruitment drive will continue till August 25, 2019. IBPS RRB 2019 Prelim exam will be held on August 3, 4 and 11 for Officer Scale 1 post. For the post of Office Assistant, the IBPS RRB prelims will be conducted on August 17, 18 and 25. Note that since this is a competitive examination, mere passing is not adequate. Candidates have to obtain high ranks in the order of merit to become eligibile for future selection process. IBPS RRB Exam 2019 will fill up 8,400 posts at various Regional Rural Banks in the country.

IBPS RRB 2019 Prelims exam pattern
A total of 80 questions will be asked in IBPS RRB prelims. The online examination will comprise objective-type multiple choice tests as stated below:
Reasoning: 40 marks
Numerical ability: 40 marks
Important note: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Candidates have to qualify in both tests by securing minimum cut-off marks. An adequate number of candidates in each category, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for online IBPS RRB main examination.
Time Management: Don't devote more than a minute on any question. The duration of the entire paper is 45 minutes. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself.   National flags at Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament were at half-mast on Tuesday as the country observes a 7-day State mourning following the demise of former President Pranab Mukherjee . The state mourning is being observed throughout the country from August 31 to September 6 as a mark of respect to the former President, who passed away on Monday. "As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, seven days state mourning will be observed throughout India from August 31 to September 6, both days inclusive. During the period of state mourning, the national flag will fly at half-mast on all buildings throughout India, where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment," the Ministry of Home Affairs said in an official release. Mukherjee, 84, passed away on Monday at the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) Hospital where he was admitted earlier this month and had undergone surgery for removal of a clot in his brain. Samsung to launch Galaxy M30 with three rear cameras, 5000mAh battery today

South Korean electronics major Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M30 on February 27 at 6 PM. The India-first smartphone will be the third device in the M-series . The other two Galaxy M20 (review) and the Galaxy M10 (review) were launched in January 2019. Some of the key features include a triple rear camera module, Infinity-U shaped notch screen, 5,000mAh battery, and the Exynos 7904 processor, according to Samsung. The recent Instagram post by the company also confirms that the phone will come with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.
