  Taiwanese electronics maker Asus on Thursday expanded its consumer notebook portfolio in India with the launch of 11th Gen Intel Core processor powered ZenBook and VivoBook laptops. The range of laptops are based on Intel Evo platform, which the American chipmaker Intel announced with the launch of 11th Gen Intel Core processors .   Taiwanese company ASUS has announced its new laptops line-up featuring the 11th Generation Intel Core processors . The line-up includes a laptop that has been verified on the Intel Evo platform laptop standards. Equipped with the Intel 11th Gen chips and 'Iris Xe' graphics, the latest ASUS laptops break the boundaries of performance for thin and light laptops and empower users with ultimate experiences in productivity, creativity, gaming, entertainment, and collaboration, the company said in a statement late on Wednesday.   Taiwanese electronics maker Asus is set to unveil its Zenfone 7 series smartphones on Wednesday at 11:30 am (IST) in its home country. The series is expected to bring at least two smartphones; a pro model and its vanilla edition. Successor to the Zenfone 6 (Asuz 6z review), the phones are expected to bring seasonal upgrades with regard to design, display, imaging, performance and battery. Asus Zenfone 7 series specifications (expected) Asus has not officially confirmed anything related to the Zenfone 7 series but the smartphones’ launch teasers reveal some information regarding its design and expected features. Based on teasers, it is safe to say that the phones would look similar to yesteryear Zenfone offering with flip camera module and distraction free display. Asus ROG Phone 3 is set to launch on July 22 through an online event, which would broadcast live on Asus’ social media channels and YouTube. The gaming-centric smartphone will debut the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ system-on-chip, which brings up to 10 per cent improvement in computing and graphics performance over the predecessor. Therefore, the ROG Phone 3 is expected to bring more than just seasonal upgrades with regard to specifications, features and performance. Asus launches AMD Ryzen 4000-powered TUF-series notebooks: Price and specs

Asus on Tuesday launched AMD Ryzen 4000 -series powered TUF A15 and TUF A17 gaming laptops in India. Starting at Rs 60,990, the TUF A15 notebook will be available in bonfire black (FA506) and fortress gray (FA566) colours, whereas, the TUF A17 (FA706) will be available in fortress gray colour only. Along with the TUF laptops, the Taiwanese electronics maker also launched AMD Ryzen powered GA15 and GA35 desktops under its gaming ROG brand. The TUF Gaming A15 and A17 are powered by AMD Ryzen 4000-series mobile processors with up to eight cores and sixteen thread configuration, paired with up with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and GeForce RTX 2060 discrete graphic processing units, respectively. The laptops support up to 32GB dual-channel DDR4-3200 RAM and come with solid state drive (SSD) storage of up to 1TB. Both the notebooks boast dual anti-dust fans to keep thermals in check. Read More
