Coronavirus scare: Class 12 Meghalaya board exams postponed

The ongoing class 12 state board examinations in Meghalaya have been postponed for an indefinite period as a precautionary measure in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic , an official said on Monday. The state government has directed the Meghalaya Board of School Education to postpone remaining examinations until further notice, the official said. The decision was taken in view of safety and security of students, the board's controller of examination T R Laloo said. The examinations were scheduled on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week, Laloo said, adding that spot evaluations have also been postponed. This year, the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations started on March 2, the official said. Read More

Maharashtra SSC exam : More than 1.7 million students from across Maharashtra are expected to appear for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination for class 10 which begin today (March 3). State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Chairperson Shakuntala Kale had on Monday said that the SSC exam based on the new syllabus would be organised across the nine divisions — Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Konkan, Latur, Aurangabad, Amravati and Kolhapur — between March 3 and 23. A total of 1,765,000 students are expected to appear for the exam. "The students should follow only official schedule of the examination that was published by the state board," Kale added. Exams for Class 12 (HSC) began on February 18, 2020, and will conclude on March 18. Maharashtra Board class 12 exam online registration to begin from October 3

Online application filling process for Maharashtra Class XII board exams 2020 will start from October 3, 2019. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) has issued a notification in this regard. Class 12 students studying in schools and colleges affiliated to the Maharashtra board can visit mahasscboard.maharashtra.gov.in to register themselves for the exam. The link is presently non-operational and is likely to start working from October 3. The online application process, for students from arts, science and commerce streams, will start on October 3 and end on October 23 . HSC vocational stream students can fill the form between October 24 and October 31. The schools and colleges, on thier part, will have to deposit registration money of students between November 1 and November 18. Students appearing for CBSE 2020 examination can visit the CBSE official website cbse.nic.in to download the sample question papers of all subjects for CBSE board exam 2020. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has postponed Class 10 and 12 supplementary exams scheduled for today due to a call for state-wide shutdown to protest the demolition of Sri Guru Ravidas temple in Tughlakabad in Delhi. The Class 10 maths exam and Class 12 exams of political science, business studies and physics have also been postponed. PSEB has not yet declared the rescheduled date.
