  Samsung on Tuesday announced that the upcoming Galaxy Z family will include the first-ever S (Stylus) Pen, a USP of its Note series.   Aiming to boost its laptop users, Samsung Electronics on Wednesday unveiled two new laptops, Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 , under its Galaxy Book Pro series , which is designed around the needs and routines of modern mobile-first users. Both the laptops under the Galaxy Book Pro series will be available in two variants -- 13-inch and 15-inch -- and are Samsung's first-ever Windows PCs with Super AMOLED displays. "Galaxy S20 FE 5G brings all flagship innovations at an accessible price point. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet gets One UI 3.1, DeX support

  Samsung has released the One UI 3.1, the latest version of its custom Android skin update, for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite . The update brought a refreshed UI design and various other features to the mid-range tablet. "The update also brought a major feature to the device: Samsung DeX," reports SamMobile. DeX support will allow Galaxy Tab S6 Lite users to optimally connect it to the big screen and use it as a portable desktop. The update now means a more productive use of the S Pen, external keyboard, mouse or when an external screen connection is made. Samsung unveils new image sensor ISOCELL GN2 with upgraded autofocus

  Samsung Electronics on Tuesday introduced a new image sensor boasting an upgraded autofocus solution as the South Korean tech giant eyes to expand its presence in the mobile image sensor market. The ISOCELL GN2 is Samsung's first image sensor to use Dual Pixel Pro technology. Like its previous Dual Pixel solution, it adopts two photodiodes within every pixel, but the latest one splits the pixels not only vertically but also diagonally. "This diagonal cut allows the focusing agents to better recognise the top and bottom of the frame, allowing the sensor to get in focus quickly even when there are no pattern changes in a horizontal direction," Samsung said.   Samsung has said it will release its smart tracking tag on the market this week as the South Korean tech giant tries to expand its mobile ecosystem with advanced communications solutions. Samsung said the Galaxy SmartTag will go on sale in South Korea on Tuesday with a price tag of 29,700 won ($26). The latest mobile accessory leverages Bluetooth low energy (BLE) technology, which allows users to easily locate non-connected items by simply attaching the tag to objects. The tag can be registered through Samsung's SmartThings app, and users can register multiple tags on their smartphones, reports Yonhap news agency. According to the company, SmartTag can make an alarm sound when users are near the object. It will use a coin battery that powers the device up to 300 days for use.   Samsung Electronics has unveiled an updated programme to recycle old mobile devices at home with Internet of Things (IoT) technology as part of the South Korean tech titan's vision for a sustainable future. Samsung unveiled "Galaxy Upcycling at Home" programme at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021 late on Monday. "The new programme reimagines the lifecycle of an older Galaxy phone and offers consumers options on how they might be able to repurpose their device to create a variety of convenient IoT tools," the company said. The latest programme is an update to its Galaxy Upcycling campaign that was recognised by the US Environmental Protection Agency as a solution for used mobile devices.
