CES 2021: Dell updates Alienware gaming laptops with Nvidia's RTX 3000 GPUs

  PC giant Dell on Wednesday refreshed its Alienware m15 and m17 R4 gaming laptop range with the newly-launched Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021. The updated m15 and m17 will be on sale starting January 26 in the US for $2,149.99. "Both m15/m17 laptops are available in colours Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon, with a new matte finish front panel. And if you are exporting the experience to a gaming TV or big format display (like the monstrous Alienware 55 OLED), you will get even smoother output with a newly upgraded HDMI 2.1 connection capable of delivering 4K resolutions at 120Hz," the company said in a statement.   Taiwanese electronics giant Asus on Wednesday showcased a wide variety of new laptops at the ongoing Consumers Electronics Show (CES) 2021. The company launched ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582), ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482), VivoBook S14 (S435), and the TUF Dash gaming laptop. The new lineup pushes the boundaries of design and innovation to deliver ultimate mobile computing experiences, the company said in a statement. CES 2021: Nvidia launches GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs for notebooks

  Nvidia has announced their GeForce RTX 30 series flagship graphics processors for laptops at the CES 2021. The new series includes the RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and the RTX 3080, all backed by a new Max-Q design to deliver optimal power and performance for notebooks. Each of the cards brings a performance upgrade, and the 3080 is the fastest. Nvidia said these will be the world's fastest laptops, promising over 100 frames per second at 1440p with RTX on for "popular graphics-intensive games". The new GeForce RTX 3060 is claimed to deliver 90fps on the latest games with ultra settings at 1080p resolution on laptops that will have a starting price of $999. According to Nvidia, the new RTX 3070 laptops should be up to 50 per cent faster than the RTX 2070 and deliver around 90 frames per second at Ultra settings and 1440p, starting from $1,299. CES 2021: Sony showcases Airpeak drone with Alpha camera system

  Sony has unveiled its Airpeak drone before the company launched a new business targeted for professional photography and video production in the spring of 2021. The new drone, part of AI Robotics, is the world's smallest drone capable of carrying a state-of-the-art Alpha camera system. "In order to fully support the creativity of video creators, the payload of the drone can be equipped with an Alpha mirrorless camera to capture high quality, full frame aerial photography and video," Sony said in a statement during the CES 2021 on Tuesday. Airpeak is capable of dynamic filming and precise, stable flight, and aims to contribute to the world of entertainment while also pursuing new possibilities for creative expression. CES 2021: HP launches 2 Dragonfly laptops with 11th gen Intel chips

  At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021, HP has unveiled updated versions of its Elite Dragonfly business laptops -- the Dragonfly Max and Dragonfly G2 -- with 11th Gen Intel processors. Both the laptops will include 5G options, with AT&T and T-Mobile networks supported in the US. The G2 comes in a full HD low-power version, a full HD edition with HP's Sure View privacy feature and a UHD option that supports HDR400 and goes up to 1,000 nits of brightness. HP includes a Tile track built into the laptops so you can track your laptop right in the Tile app, reports Engadget. Lenovo launches lightweight AR glasses 'ThinkReality A3' at CES 2021

  Lenovo has launched a new pair of lightweight AR glasses called ThinkReality A3 during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021. Available only for enterprise customers, these glasses can connect to your PC or a Motorola smartphone via a USB type-C cable. The Lenovo ThinkReality A3 smart glasses will be available in select markets worldwide starting mid-2021. The pricing, however, has not been revealed. "Whether working in virtual spaces or supporting remote assistance, the ThinkReality A3 enhances workers' abilities to do more wherever they are," Jon Pershke, Lenovo Vice President of Strategy and Emerging Business, Intelligent Device Group said in a statement. "The smart glasses are part of a comprehensive integrated digital solution from Lenovo that includes the advanced AR device, ThinkReality software, and Motorola mobile phones. Read More
