Maharashtra HSC result 2020: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce High School Certificate (HSC) or Class 12 Result 2020 during the week, according to media reports. Students can now check their Maharashtra 12th result 2020 at mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in . Students can also download the online mark sheet in PDF format. A total of 1.5 million students appeared for the MSBSHSE Class 12 exam and 1.765 million students appeared for the Class 10 exam. While the Class 12 board examinations were conducted before the lockdown restrictions were imposed, only the geography paper of class 10 could not be conducted due to lockdown restrictions. The government then announced that marks for geography subject would be given based on average marks received in five other subjects of the examination. Maharashtra SSC exam : More than 1.7 million students from across Maharashtra are expected to appear for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination for class 10 which begin today (March 3). State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Chairperson Shakuntala Kale had on Monday said that the SSC exam based on the new syllabus would be organised across the nine divisions — Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Konkan, Latur, Aurangabad, Amravati and Kolhapur — between March 3 and 23. A total of 1,765,000 students are expected to appear for the exam. "The students should follow only official schedule of the examination that was published by the state board," Kale added. Exams for Class 12 (HSC) began on February 18, 2020, and will conclude on March 18. Maharashtra Board class 12 exam online registration to begin from October 3

Online application filling process for Maharashtra Class XII board exams 2020 will start from October 3, 2019. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) has issued a notification in this regard. Class 12 students studying in schools and colleges affiliated to the Maharashtra board can visit mahasscboard.maharashtra.gov.in to register themselves for the exam. The link is presently non-operational and is likely to start working from October 3. The online application process, for students from arts, science and commerce streams, will start on October 3 and end on October 23 . HSC vocational stream students can fill the form between October 24 and October 31. The schools and colleges, on thier part, will have to deposit registration money of students between November 1 and November 18. Girls outshine boys in Maharashtra HSC exams with 90% pass percentage

Girls have outperformed boys in the class 12 examination in Maharashtra, results for which were announced Tuesday. Girls have secured a pass percentage of 90.25 per cent against 82.40 per cent of boys in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education ( MSBSHSE ) in February-March 2019. The total pass percentage stood at 85.88% this year, announced board chairperson Shakuntala Kale. A total of 1423503 students had registered for the exam of which 1421936 students appeared, and 1221159 of them passed. Among the divisions, Konkan secured the highest pass percentage at 93.23 per cent followed by Pune (87.88%), Amaravati (87.55%), Aurangabad (87.29%), Kolhapur (87.12%), Latur (86.08%), Nashik (84.77%), Mumbai (83.85%) and Nagpur 82.51%.
