Lenovo ThinkBook Plus review: Regular laptop with useful e-ink cover screen

Image
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus is a one-of-its-kind notebook with dual displays – a 13.3-inch primary screen complemented by a secondary 10.8-inch e-Ink screen. It may not be the only notebook with a dual-screen design, but it is indeed the only that lets you use the secondary screen without lifting the display lid. That is because the e-Ink display is available on the cover, and it is always active – unless the notebook runs out of battery. Therefore, you neither have to open the lid nor wake the laptop to use the secondary screen. Moreover, the e-Ink display is touch-enabled and supports Lenovo’s digital pen tool (an in-box accessory). The e-Ink display is supplementary, and so is its usage. Besides showing notifications, the e-Ink display can be used as an e-reader (through the Windows Kindle app) and PDF viewer with annotate and review functionality. Moreover, you can use it to sketch and take notes. Thankfully, Lenovo has integrated Microsoft OneNote – not something of its own – w

Image
Chinese tech giant Lenovo has launched T rue Wireless (TWS) Bluetooth Earbuds , the HT 10 Pro , which is an upgraded version of the TWS of 2019. The earbuds come with new EQ technology and are priced at a competitive Rs 4,499. We used it for a couple weeks and here's how it fared. Design The HT10 Pro comes in a nifty little capsule which is all-black, save the Lenovo logo at the top. The pod also works as a charging point for the earbuds nestled inside. The earbuds have a plastic body with a protruding design and a button embedded on the outer surface to control them. Despite their rather bulky size, HT10 Pro earbuds are light. They do stick out of the ears a little more than I'd have liked, but they still are a comfortable fit. And if they are not, you can try the other ear tips available in the box. Overall, these earbuds have a slick, modern look with a good build and comfortable fitting. You can also use the earbuds in mono or stereo mode. The case complements

Image
Motorola , a smartphone brand now owned by Chinese electronics manufacturer Lenovo, has unveiled the Motorola Razr (2019) – a bendable-screen smartphone based on the company’s iconic flip-phone, the Moto Razr (original). Instead, it works like a smartphone irrespective of how you use it – folded or unfolded – and that is what makes it different from its counterparts. Motorola Razr India launch The Motorola Razr was unveiled on Wednesday in a global event held in Los Angeles. Soon after the unveiling, the company’s India subsidiary posted the phone’s silhouette as a cover image on its official Twitter account. On Thursday, the company also updated its official web portal with Motorola Ra

Likewise, there are several other things that make the G8 Plus an interesting product. Business Standard took the Moto G8 Plus out for a spin to see how it fares on key smartphone parameters — design, features, performance, etc. Here is what we found: Design The Moto G8 Plus is a neat blend of the Moto G-series and Motorola One-series smartphones. On the front, the Moto G8 Plus’ waterdrop-shaped notch-screen design makes it similar in appearance to its predecessor, the Moto G7 Plus. The back, on the other hand, resembles the recently launched Motorola One Macro with a gradient reflective design and a vertical
