Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite that will be available in India in the first week of February for Rs 39,999 can be pre-ordered on Flipkart from January 23. The e-commerce platform has set up a landing page that reveals the pre-order date for Galaxy S10 Lite . The much-anticipated device in one variant is likely to cost Rs 39,999 -- giving Chinese player OnePlus a tough competition in this price segment, industry sources told IANS on Saturday. The smartphone will give a renewed push to Samsung's strategy in the premium segment (priced above Rs 30,000), where its flagship smartphones Galaxy S and Note series have traditionally done very well. Samsung announces Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite with triple cameras

Samsung on Friday officially announced the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite , the budget versions of Samsung’s popular 2019 flagships ahead of CES 2020. The lite versions are designed to offer features available in Galaxy S10 and Note 10 phones at an affordable price, the smartphone maker said in a statement. Galaxy S10 Lite The Galaxy S10 Lite will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 2400 × 1080 resolution, Snapdragon 855 processor, 4,500mAh battery, and either 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage. The phone will have three rear sensors: a main wide-angle 48MP camera, a 127-degree ultra-wide 12MP sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. The cameras will also use Samsung’s new Super Steady OIS. Samsung Galaxy S10-series, Fold, wearables launched: Take a 360-degree view

South Korean electronics major Samsung on February 20 introduced the tenth generation of its Galaxy S-series smartphones, along with a new foldable device, smart health band, smart watch and wireless earbuds. Leading the Galaxy S10-series is the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. The Plus edition has a 6.4-inch QHD+ dynamic AMOLED curved screen stretched in 19:9 aspect ratio. It has a triple camera module on the back and a double camera set-up on the front, stacked under a punch hole on the screen. The phone is powered by a 4,100 mAh. The phone boasts an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner stacked under the display. Price of the Galaxy S10 Plus starts at $999, which translated to around Rs 71,000 in India currency. Samsung has come a long way since launching its first Galaxy-series smartphone. On February 20 (Feb 21 in India), marking ten year of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the South Korean electronics major would unveil a new breed of mobile device with a foldable screen, besides introducing the tenth iteration of its Galaxy S10-series.
